
Nisah Tahara, MSc
Nisah Tahara is a seasoned entrepreneur and owner of Outbound/IN, a certified woman owned business. She is a master training instructor built on practical experience over 10 years with the largest Michigan utility DTE Energy. Nisah is a behavioral scientist having embarked on an eclectic career journey of assessment, design and implementation of public relations and training programs for several retail entities including Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda and Mercedes Benz. She has held public relations and community relations positions for various public sector organizations and was a marketing leader for Barton Malow and regional marketing head for AECOM, managing the RFP response for successful enterprise projects including Mishawaka Hospital in Indiana, Mark Jefferson Science Complex - Eastern Michigan University and many automotive projects for Chrysler (now FCA). Following a few years in the upstream oil and gas industry, she focused her interests and talents on building cultural awareness opportunities for international audiences interested in doing business in the United States. She has provided services for cybersecurity SIEM, and has been an academic presenter in China, western Canada, and The Bahamas. Nisah has received numerous awards for her fundraising work with Starr Commonwealth, Orchards Children's Services and the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
