A CASE STUDY
The Challenge
Client was planning the unification of two large business units and then the integration of that combined unit into their broader organization. The two business units were hierarchically structured and the integration required a swift migration to a matrix-overlay organizational model. These changes impacted 15 senior business leaders and approximately 350 staff. The client had a valid concern about negative impact on business performance during the final quarter of the year and a possible spike in regrettable attrition resulting in loss of top talent.
The CSaaS Solution
Client nominated 4 key senior leaders for enrollment into the Individual Advisory Subscription program. Each participant was assigned an Executive Business Partner who shared similar domain experience. A weekly meeting cadence was established and a tailored agenda was agreed. Each EBP quickly built a trust-based working relationship with their assigned participant, providing a safe safe environment to discuss, understand and brainstorm business challenges and personal concerns. The EBP focused on sharing global best-practices, learnings, tips and traps drawn from their own experiences and relevant to the participants role mandate. Peer-networking groups were established and Advisory Board workshops were facilitated.
